I know this has been discussed before, and I remember reading that it is an issues with Windows 7 SP1, however it is very annoying and I was wondering if anyone has found a permanent solution.

    Basically, the drivers for:
    1. the USB 2.0 hub/port (the one on the left, not the two together on the right, which are USB 3.0)
    2. the WiMax
    3. the built-in camera

disappear after each reboot, and only the USB one appears with a yellow triangle (error), the others do not appear in any form. If I delete them and reboot, windows finds them all again and installs them properly, HOWEVER, on the next reboot they disappear again and remove/reboot is needed again. And so on, and so on... Very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this and any solutions that work permanently?

I can also do 'scan hardware changes' after removing the USB 2.0 driver with the triangle and then all hardware and drivers are installed properly (until the next reboot when they disappear again).

Just for web-reference sake and to help the future searches on these keywords: the problem went away with a clean install of windows. it obviously was some combination of broken drivers and other garbage that doesn't uninstall as it should, or leaves crap behind. Clean Reinstall -> problem gone
