    I've had my heart set on this laptop. I want to play Steam games and Web browse with this. Games like TF2, CSS, Garry's Mod, Fallout New Vegas.
    Is this laptop good?
    Does it overheat?
    Did they fix the Hinge problem on new ones?
    Black friday deals, does alienware do them with the m11x?

    I love my R1; it plays games, is good for schoolwork, has a super long battery life (with some tweaking), and if it's like my old laptop, the hinge won't break for a good four years.

    My last bit of advice: if you cannot wait to get your hands on this laptop, then buy the FastTrack configuration of the laptop (Core i5, 4GB of RAM, 250GB mechanical hard drive), and get next-day shipping on it. I placed my order on a Monday night, and had my new toy in my hands by Wednesday morning.
