When I browse the internet extensively using either chrome or firefox it seems I get some skipping when playing mp3s on wmp. no excessive jump in cpu usage, ram use is way down...it happens at random times (and no its not the mp3 file itself).

I know its a long shot but anybody else facing this kind of issue? Its more annoying than anything I guess. Just a short skip (like the kind you had when your ripped cd had some dirt on it for that millisecond or something).

I guess it happens just when using explorer sometimes too (will do it when i am changing folders or closing windows/performing an action - but not every time i do it obviously or i'd have killed myself)

I had a similar problem, within around 3 seconds my music would automatically restart. As well as videos on YouTube.

Does it still happen if you use a different program to play your music?
