Just ordered my m11x. Got the i5 cpu, 4gb ram, 250gb hdd, bluetooth and free ndd all for $937.54 after tax. I tried see what my options were for the i7 but in the end I decided I was getting a better deal with the i5.

I did not get Next day on mine but it has expected date of 06/17/2010. I paid $862 w.tax n free ship for i7,160gb, 4gb, and BT. i added a 500gb solid state hybrid drive for $117 so total is $979 and plan to use the 160gb for the wife's wii or sell it for $50 as external.

I can't post exactly how it's done, but it was (still is?) possible to be able to obtain a 21% discount AND 100 dollars off, but heck, even without the 100 dollars off, 21% is ridiculous. That's the best deals I've seen. It is a slickdeal posted in their forums about the older c2d models which apparently worked for some i5/i7 models. That's my advice, search yourself =)

So I'm guessing you got the i7 for under $900 by using the Boeing discount? I only used the 10% EEP and the $100 off coupon. Would I be correct in guessing the boeing discount is no longer available to anyone?

It's a good deal, but not the best. There are some that got better deal than that. For most people $100 off is what they are getting, then next better deal is people who get 10% EPP + $100 off. And as other said, Boeing discount is the best, but not everyone can get that.

damn you s screwing up the Boeing discount.. sigh. My dad works for Boeing and the Boeing epp site now shows to call in to order and use the 21%off through phone. Not a big deal for me, but still pain in the b/c of fakers.
