After reading lots of things about it i decided to give it a go. bought an R2

Core i5 520UM, 4Gb. changed the standard HDD with an SSD right away (M25x 160G Intel)

I am impressed, the machine feels nice to the touch. i like the overall feel better then comparable systems i have played with.

When i have more to tell you folks i'll post it here...

I've heard that some SSD series of Intel have a serious problem with the firmware, you should double check that.

Thanks men. about Intel SSD's i have this one for a year now; no issue's with latest firmware.

A little update. i switched the original memory with some good memory i had laying around that came out of my M17x R2 in that machine it performed very good.
