Sooo i finally received my R2 everything seems to be in order.. soo far everything is well ...except for the gap between on the bottom left side and the right side (next to the hinges) are un-even can that be a potential problem in the future... also the enter key is lopsided and sometimes when i press on it, it wont work properly. is there a way to just pop it back out myself and reinsert it ? i dont want to damage anything..i just need to fix the enter key... thank you :(

with my keyboard, the keys can come unbound sometimes, and if you press on it hard it will flex back into the spot its supose to be in. IF worse comes to worse you can actually pull the key out by ricking it (lol rocking) back and forth till it comes out. There should be a loud pop, but its just the latches undernearth the key coming unbound.

    ps:Iv unintentionally rickrolled

i have something similar, here is my LCD left side gap and right side cap... i dont seeing it ever becoming and issue or putting strain on anything in particular. (i've seen the inside there are 4 screws that screw the LCD to the chasis)

I have the exact same gap problem, pretty much the exact gap as tassadar898. I can't see why it would be a problem-- I have no marks on my screen from keyboard contact (I keep my hands clean :p) and there's no popping or cracking when I open the lid.

For me, it's not worth sending it back over unless Brian comes in and says that it can cause problems down the road.

only mark i saw on the screen was from the rubber on the sides of the m11x ( little under the edge of the keyboards)

just looked at it. having the same gap here. but i figured out that the lid has only one magnet at the top right side. maybe thats why the lid is "asymetric". This closing mechanism is most strange, why would you have an magnet inside a laptop? I think that could be the problem causing the hinge issue while the lid is only fixed with this one magnet to the bottom.
