Ok so I just recieved my m11x was super pumped about it and I mean I ordered it strictly for gaming, particularly WoW. I've read through different threads about the performance being low and whatnot but I don't see anything really that's relating to my problem.
I ordered the basic m11x with the core-2 duo processor. I didn't do any type of customization to it or anything and I've looked and havent seen anything as to why I wouldn't have the Nvidia graphics card.
When I go to the control panel and then click on the Nvidia control panel I just get a message that says: "An Nvidia graphics card was not detected in your system."
Basically I'm just wondering if I haven't done something I need to do or what. I've downloaded the latest drivers and everything and to be honest I'm not extremely computer savvy or anything like that but I thought the 335m was supposed to be installed.
Idk if I'm not doing something right, missed something when I was ordering, or if Dell somehow made a mistake but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the card just off? Try hitting Fn F6.

Don't you have to switch over to the 335M card first by Function F6 before you can detect the video card?

Hit the FN F6 button.
You seriously should try reading the manual first... -
If reading the manual does provide the answers.
Easily fixed. Just go back to the original restore point or backup you created before you started your upgrades.
And, you know the nVidia switching worked before you upgraded everything cause you checked it. Because you said to yourself, I'll check the basic package that Dell has sent me to make sure everything works before I start making changes. Then you created a restore point and backup.
Now then, back to the room with mirrors and have a good long look at yourself. And don't forget to take the user manual with you. -
Wow ok my fault no reason to be a jerk about it Mr. internet muscles. I didn't think to look in the manual to activate something. This is the first computer I've ever owned. I guess I probably should have but it just didnt click at the time. Thanks for the help though I guess.

Who would want a life without "DOH!" moments?
Thanks for the chuckle and glad you got it sorted.
I find there are three approaches to "things", mainly grouped by age/gender..
1. RT#M.. and then read it again before you even unwrap the "thing"
2. Get the thing out and do the obvious, then RT#M when it does not work as expected
3. I am one with the "thing" it just works for me and I make all you others look like dim witted fools
Me... I'm a 2, my daughter is a 3 and the wife is a 1. -
