I've had Alienware's for years, and I've had my M11x R2 for quite a long time now as well. It's easy to get all wrapped up in the technicalities of the machine, the issues with optimus, maximizing frame rates and so on. Last night I overclocked the machine for the first time (I don't normally overclock my notebooks - that's what my Aurora is for), and then today I took a brief wander around Tamriel for the first time in a few years.
Then it struck me that "Oh My God, we've come a long way". Im sitting here with an 11 inch netbook on my lap, overclocked, with running Oblivion at full graphics settings and with NVidia Optimus lending a hand to add anti-aliasing etc etc and still getting between 25 and 45 frames per second in what is surely one of the most atmospheric and beautiful game environments ever created. Amazing.
Take a step back from time to time guys and smell the roses.

oblivion is amazing. sometimes just thinking about how far we have come in the last few years, makes me wonder what we will accomplish in another couple years.
imagine when skyrim comes out, even more beautiful, and i bet it would be perfectly playable on the m11x. -
Froogle great point your 100% right. An 11 in sub compact caan to that.
Sometimes, you have to step back and soak it all in
