    Sound issue through HDMI

    I can't seem to be able to get my sound out through my HDMI. I have checked my settings and it isn't listed as a sound output source but when I check device manager it shows that it is working properly. Any suggestions for a solution or where I can get the most updated driver?

    R1 or R2/R3? Sounds like you're missing the HDMI sound device.

    On my R1 it gets installed with the driver pack from the dell website. I'm not sure about the R2/R3, they use the Verde driver and I don't know if that installs the HDMI audio device.
