I was under the impression that Steam and Portal would be installed on my new m11x. However, neither of them seem to be. I downloaded Steam, and went onto my account but Portal hasn't been added to my library. Is there something I need to do to get it installed?

For me Steam was installed (it is default for all m11x lappies) but without Portal, once I logged into my steam account Portal added to games list.

You may chose not to install Steam when you placed the order.

I have steam and when I went into it, Portal was automatically downloaded. Love that dang game. It is definitely addictive.

There's an option to have Steam + Portal both installed when you customize your m11x. Not sure how it works out since I already have Portal on my steam account.

Well that's what I mean. I selected it to come preinstalled, but neither of them were =( and when I logged onto steam after downloading it, nothing came up about portal.

Nothing will popup. there is no notification of it. The game should just be in your game library

double check your order specs, and if it is on there call dell. Maybe they can just give you a code. I had steam preloaded on my laptop, and just had to download portal
