    G'day
So the other day I installed the latest nvidia driver for my Alienware m11x just prior to the release of bf3 and mw3, after installing this driver my computer blue screened. Then again blue screened when trying to open a mp4 file. Finally I retried it today and once logge on for about 2 minutes the computer restarted itself before the screen came back on with the fuzzy horizontal static like lines across it. I performed unexpected manual shutdown, and then turned it back on again, finally once it was rebooted into safe mode them
I selected restart, it shut itself down for a few seconds before rebooting with nothing on the screen and the laptop was just beeping.
    What has happened?
    What should I do?

    PLEASE HELP

My first idea of possible source of the problem would be: memory problems on your nvidia graphics board. you should try to do some diagnostics on the card (if possible)

what version of the m11x do you own?
do you have any kind of mod on your system?
    did you overclock?

with the amount of information you given it could be anything...

    Which M11x you got
Record the beebs, which would honestly be best.
    which BIOS version?

just give all the info you can... plus did you try restoring default settings on BIOS?
