    These temps usual? M11x R2 (CPU-GPU hovering around 70 C)

    Hey guys, recently my laptop has been running really hot, and I think (not for sure) is hurting my performance.

    When playing BF3, temps hover around 70 C as soon below:

    Also, when not running anything, the CPU hovers around 70 C! I'm thinking this an issue with the fan, but any other possible ideas? My CPU is currently OC'ed to 153 and running throttle stop. GPU is at default settings.

    70 degrees is pretty normal.

    no problem...here when i'm playing BF3 temps around 75 C..damn Brazil...soo hot!!!

    Idle should be around 50, but 70 playing BF3 is actually quite good.

    clear fans / use cooler pad ,maybe down temps :p here in brazil,i think the best is that 75C...and i use cooler pad and clear my fans last week ! and use Hwinfo64 ...here i set 5000Rpm ...soo cold now :D

    Last week we had 45 Celsius (like 110+ Fahrenheit) heat for almost 5 days straight, and even with that sort of ambient temp my M11x R3 was running fine @ ~75-80 while gaming via HDMI @ 1920x1080
