I was ready to pull the trigger on a refurbed i7 R2 when I saw the 750 shipped deal for a brand new I3-330UM w/ 8 gb DDR3, 320 GB HD and the same graphics card. Is it worth paying a 80 dollar premium for a refurbed i7 w/ 4 gb DDR3 and a smaller HD?

    Thanks!

The i7 kills the i3, no Turbo, low clockspeed, only FSB overclocking... I'd say its worth it.

I do not... Usually don't use the outlet. Bump for someone who does?

Google "dell outlet coupons". There are a lot websites that have them!

places can have outlet coupons up the doesn't mean they're still valid. I took advantage of the 15% off coupon that ended July 29th.

that said i7 all the way, the extra $80 is well worth it. I'm quite happy with my M15 with i7.

Someone I just talked to used a 100 dollar off outlet coupon. I do not remember which thread it was but it was specifically for the m11x. So, Im sure if you search a bit you can find one (usually they do not stack).

Wait for a really good outlet coupon. I usually check slickdeals.net for dell coupons. I got my m11x R2 i5 w/ 4gb of ram for $680 total after the outlet reduced price and an amazing 30% off coupon.
