PunkBuster fix is suppose to be in 265 series. This is still 260 series and seems like the last one. From the look of the numbers seems like 265 is already in the work or at least in it's alpha stage already.

    Release notes for this release

As part of the NVIDIA Verde Notebook Driver Program, this is a reference driver that can be installed on supported NVIDIA notebook GPUs. However, please note that your notebook original equipment manufacturer (OEM) provides certified drivers for your specific notebook on their website. Great, I cant wait to get home and I just arrived to work ...
I says that there is a performance improvement with Civilization V, I wonder if its only for SLI?
and I hope that Civ V Dx10 works with this one.

Mafia II Demo now runs successfully in fullscreen, and also appears to benefit in a good FPS increase. Benchmark got 31.4FPS average.

Edit: This is all stock no overclocking.

Games that were not working for me with the previous release in native resolution are now working for me.

With the previous driver I was getting a black screen with audio at native rez, but they worked when you switched your desktop resolution prior to loading the game from 136 6x768 to 136 0x768. Now they run at 1366x768 again. yay!

If it's the black screen, then disable AA. It's the cause behind that issue. CoD5 works for me... (dunno if that matters :p)

I had that same problem with COD4. Black screen but with music. Turning off AA fixed it for me.

    Just to confirm. ;)

Anti aliasing. It keeps pixels from looking all jagged if scaled to a resolution they arent meant to display at.

cfg file in your profile, or force the setting in the nVidia CP.

    c:\users\[username]\appdata\local\activision\codwaw\player\profile

or something like that for the cfg.

I went into the NVIDIA control panel and set the preferred device to on board video. Then I was able to run COD4. From the menu I turned AA off and saved then exited out.

Went back to the NVIDIA control panel and set the preferred device to auto. Ran COD4 again and it worked.

You'll have to do it for both the SP and the MP.

Confirm that Civilization 5 DOES work on both DirectX9 and DX10/11 modes finally!

I can't see much difference except that DX10 mode seems to have both higher and lower FPS. Meaning it can reach 60 fps depending on what's going on in the screen, but it can go as low as 3 fps randomly. I'm still playing with different options to see what's best.

Also DX10 mode enables AntiAliasing but it slows down everything...

I'm mostly playing Civ 5, SC 2, and Fallout 3 on my m11x right now. I've tried a few drivers and, for these games at least, I think that 260.99 is the best so far.

    Just my 2 cents.

there is no "best" driver for R2 at this point of time as far as I know. Since I involve in most of the modded drivers here and have tested a lot of them personally. It really comes down to what games are important to you and there will be a specific set that tend to run better. But then again the day of a perfect driver will unlikely going to happen. Since the same situation appears on desktop variants where they can never find the "best" drivers. You will always find that one driver perform better in some while another does the other way around. Unless you are "lucky" enough to be just playing that few games only that are very well tweak in a particular driver. But thats also provided you dont play new games. Since newer games always love newer drivers better due to optimizations that are added later...

So the other day I decided to play the old C&C: Generals, and I can't whitelist the freaking game... that's lame, I can't get past 30 fps, and it goes down to 10 from time to time... LAME. I have the 260.99 drivers ofc. If anybody has C&C: generals running on the m11x smoothly I would appreciate any tips on how to fix it.
It's a shame optimus only works for mainstream games most of the time... meh.

Official support is meant for R2.

R1 user should be able to install by losing your switchable graphics capability. Will need to disable your Intel in BIOS and you will run dedicated in Nvidia mode with this driver.

I noticed a drop in performance in the Intel GPU after installing this driver for the 335M. After running a couple of benchmarks, it has indeed dropped. I uninstalled the new 335M driver, install the old one and still I have not regained performance in the Intel card. Is this weired? Should the driver on the 335M really effect the Intel card? Any suggestions?

Got my M11xR1 just now. I tried to install 260.99 but it was like I did not install the driver (The card is using windows default driver). Is 260.99 support M11xR1?

Edit: The problem is in Switchable mode. In Discrete Only mode it is fine. So it is not possible to use Switchable mode at all?

These are only for R2 unless you want to lose the ability to switch to Intel (low power consumption) graphics with the R1
