The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Video issues with m11xr2

    Not sure if anyone else has seen these, but here goes :

    1) when using a displayport -> vga adapter the max res on the projector or monitor is 1024x768.

    2) WPF applications & Visual Studio are almost unusable when using the nvidia card, i get re-paint issues where parts of the screen update and others don't. Visual Studio 2010 on launch the startup page is black until you resize the application.

    Anyone else see this? 289.99 video drivers, latest firmware etc.
