So what am I suppose to do to these pins to bump the voltage to 1.0V? I think the default is .935V

Thats the problem it doesnt show on any app the VID.Core Temp does not show but CrystalCPUID does when I click on enhanced speedstep control but it wont let me alter the voltages. It shows .935 -> .938 so you may be correct that it is .9375 and it is rounding.
-
Yes im certain now its .9375 if i wanted to make the jump to .9875 what should i do?
-
If your standard voltage is .935, the vid6-vid0 bits are 0101101. You want to archieve 1.0v (which is 0101000) so vid2 and vid0 have to be grounded. Good luck on that

Ok so i figure it out to go from .9375 to .9875 I have to connect Vid1 to ground. Is a screw hole considered ground? Can I do what I mapped out in the picture? if so whats the best way of going about doing that what time of wiring and sodder?

does that mean putting a dot of arctic silver 5 between vid1 and vid2 would work?
-
nevermind arctic silver 5 is not conductive
Arctic Silver 5 was formulated to conduct heat, not electricity.
(While much safer than electrically conductive silver and copper greases, Arctic Silver 5 should be kept away from electrical traces, pins, and leads. While it is not electrically conductive, the compound is very slightly capacitive and could potentially cause problems if it bridges two close-proximity electrical paths.)"
would a 2B pencil work? -
If I understand correctly, such a pinmod as mentioned here (ground vid2 (0101101 -> 0101001) -> .9375 to .9875) would add +.05V to all multipliers, including Turbo Boost?
-
Ok ran into wall when I flipped the mobo I found another voltage regulator of the exact same type. I dot know which one to volt mod is one maybe for the gpu?
-
bump, any other R2ers want to give this go I tried so many times who no hope.
-
Did this project die? Would be interesting to see it succeed.
