I want to use my m11x with my iphone for when I'm in vacation.
Unfortunately I'm limited to 1GB per month, and id would be cool if there was some kind of tool/monitor showing how much bandwith I use.

With automatic updates from steam/windows/AV... I don't really have any control of the traffic.
I could disable all that, but usually I'm happy when everything works automatic and I usually don't have a limitation.

    Any idea?

Any network monitoring tool will be able tell you total data usage across a single network connection.

You could go with any number of tools on the internet, all with different features like packet monitoring, logging, etc. If I were in your shoes and just wanted something simple to monitor total bandwidth use, I'd use a Windows Gadget called "Network Meter". It's simple, it works, it does what it's supposed to, and it sits in your Sidebar dock on your desktop.
