I have a Hanvon 8"x6" tablet (same thing...ish) + M1210 (IMO, spiritual predecessor of m11x... I have mine ordered, just waiting for Dell...) works perfectly. No slowdowns, Photoshop CS3 works perfectly (saving up for CS5) with any brush, action.

If you really want confirmation from me (if nobody else has input on this by then), I should be getting my m11x by next Friday (after upcomming), so I can confirm, then.

    Have fun! :)

Hee Hee. My M1210 has a 1.6 Ghz C2D CPU. Which is a wee bit slower than the 1.7GHz OC'd C2D my incomming m11xR1 has (if the OC function works...)

The m11xR2, i5 and i7, will be far faster.

Either way, it shouldn't pose a problem.

Friendly race to see who gets what, first? :D I've had horrible luck with shipping, lately.

EDIT: if I have one gripe, it's that 720p class monitors (1280*800 m1210; 13xx*768) are too small for Photoshop. I usually stick with my desktop (23" 1080p) due to this.

    Ha! ---You're on, buddy. :)

Now I just have to play the waiting game, while I bid farewell to my trusty M1210 :( (giving it to my sister, with a few parting upgrades :p).

And Dell needs to release a BIOS update with a better fan table for the m1210, so the fan doesn't go from off-on-off-on-off-on every 3-4 min.

I have a Bamboo tablet (CTH-661) that I use on the M11x pretty frequently. Its footprint is slightly smaller than the M11x and it slides right into my bad next to the M11x in its MacTruck case.

    I never revisited this.. :(

It works perfectly. :) CS3 is about the same as on my m1210 (and a fair bit slower than my desktop).
