    Warranty question

    Hi, I bought a M11x from the US,I now live in Norway. So I went and used the international warranty transfer, since DELL is supposed to have international warranty. But after changing from US to norway, my 1 year warranty I had is gone when I check my service tag, and after sending some emails to dell they don't answer my main question at all. All they say is "Your warranty has been transferred". When a dell laptop switches owner, is the warranty still supposed to work with the new owner?

    Warranty transfer requests generally take 15 days.

    It will work with no problems, no worried.

    I successfully transferred one from the US to Canada and had a service call in Canada with the same warranty length as you (my little brother has an R1).

    1 day after I did the transfer, I watch on my service tag that it changed from US to UK and the warranty was gone (said no service available). So the warranty might come back you say in 15 days maybe? Because I thought the transfer was done now you see, because it changed to my country.
