Hey guys, just tonight I noticed that when I apply pressure to the left hand side of my computers palm rest, there is a slight clicking noise. Not really noticeable until you press your thumb on it. Anyone know what this can be from?

Is it just a one click when you press down? Or does it repeatedly click with constant applied pressure? Mine makes a popping noise when I push there and I know its just the plastic bending.

Not sure what could be causing the clicking noise in that area

Is it a popping plastic noise? or continuous clicking if you apply pressure for some time?

Mine does this as well, I have to press fairly hard though so it doesn't bother me too much.

Have you checked the inside of the PC for a cable obstructing a fan or something?
