    Well, this just sucks.

    The alien head on the back of my m11x wasn't totally lit up for some reason, so I called Dell. They tried to fix it over the phone before sending a guy over. That was quick, convenient and went pretty well. He switched out monitors and checked it out before he was satisfied it was fixed.
    Later that night, I noticed three dead pixels clustered on the middle of my screen. I called Dell again, and they told me I needed six before they'd fix it.

    Anyone else living with dead pixels on their screen?

    well I figure if it came with 3 dead pixels already it should be replaced

    I don't think the rep will be too anal about it if dell authorizes the replacement

    @genius, call support and let them know. explain you had no issues other than the alienhead backlight on the display. explain the issues with the replacement display. i'm sure they will make it right.
