Logitech Marathon Mouse... it's like the slightly smaller cousin to the MX1100, but it has the universal adapter, so you can also connect the logitech num pad using 1 usb dongle. I find it much more comfortable than the anywhere mouse.

Mind if I probe you about the RAT 7? What issues have you found with it so far?
Originally, I was looking at the R.A.T. lineup, until I saw who was making it. (Saitek/Madcatz) I've had absolutely terrible experiences with Saitek. I've been through their X-52, Cyborg Command Unit, Cyborg Rumble pad, and the X-52 Pro(After my original X-52 broke). All of them broke within a years time from purchase. Their plastic is of bad quality, & the fit-n-finish is terrible, not to mention leftover flash from the mold that in my instance inhibited smooth function of the keys. I had to take my Cyborg command unit apart & sand down all the leftover flash & remnants of the fill-tube from the mold to make the keys work smoothly. Both trigger potentiometers on the triggers went out on my Cyborg Rumble pad....so now the triggers work sporadically & mainly just go crazy when lightly pressed. My Original X-52 lost all rudder control & my X-52 Pro lost both the X & Y axis on the main stick.
I also noticed excessive wear on any plastic-to-plastic contact points. After just a few months on my Cyborg Command Unit the keys were starting to stick again because grooves were starting to get worn into them. A side effect of the cheap, crappy plastic they use, I guess.
Granted, these horror stories were from before MadCatz bought Saitek out, so I'm kinda curious how their quality has been affected by the buyout. -
Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 7:
- Currently using it as the mouse for my desktop gaming rig
- Bought it because several review sources whose opinion I respect (MaximumPC, PCGamer, etc) rated the mouse as the best mouse they have ever used.
- The mouse is the most comfortable mouse I have ever used, because of the customizability of the shape / grip
- Mice button motions all feel solid, clicky, very intuitive.
- Sniper button is awesome. It sits under your thumb, and reduces the mouse DPI (to a configurable value) when you hold it down. Release the button, and DPI goes back to its original value.
- Software is kind of crappy. Not as configurable or intuitive as Logitech SetPoint software.
- Imaging sensor is sub-par. It is picky on what surfaces you mouse on (forced to use a cloth-surface mouse pad, versus my bare desk surface).
- I like the mouse, but wouldn't buy another one or recommend it to others.
I was not too concerned with build quality of this mouse, despite the fact that it was made by Saitek / Mad Catz. The mouse itself is built around a steel frame / chassis, so there won't be any build quality issues with the construction. I think I will need to use the mouse a bit more to see how it holds up when it comes to the durability of the electronics.
I'm kind of hoping that it dies in a year. Gives me an excuse to buy yet another mouse. -
Wont let me rep you until I rep someone else. :\

I use a Razer Orochi.
-
SideWinder X8
-
I use a Microsoft mobile 4000. Nice and small, and has a few extra buttons on it to use key-bindings for games. Also only uses 1 AA battery, and the USB plug is TINY.
Possibly looking for a replacement with more additional buttons, but haven't found anything i really like -
Been using the Razer Orochi on my Mac mini (while waiting for my M11x R2 to arrive) for the past few days - initially I hated it compared to my Apple Magic Mouse...but now I really like it. Bluetooth is, of course, awesome...and being able to attach via USB for more accuracy is a plus. I recommend it.

I'm using an Orochi, as well. Coming from a Logitech G5 on my desktop, it took some acclimation but I quickly came to appreciate it. I hardly ever use it wired even when gaming.
-
I use my Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 all the time with my M11x and also when I game I use my Microsoft 2000 keyboard with a external 22" LCD
-
Let this thread die already...
Btw I use Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical (best gaming mouse on the market) 400 DPI with no mouse acceleration! -
Yes, it must die. BTW, I use the anyhwere mx and love the thing.
-
anyone used the starcraft 2 mouse from razer? me thinking of getting it.
-
For me it's been more about the mouse pad then the actual mouse, I use an IceMat, and I'm much more precise which is often the difference between killing or being killed.
I've use the g5,g7,g500, g9, and orachi, right now I only use the G7. -
I used to try a lot of gaming mouses, eventually I chose Razer Deathadder, 'coz of .... there're plenty of people who considered about that btw
-
I using a Logitech G5 that I pick up for 15.00 on flea-bay. Not bad for the money. Its my first gaming mouse.
-
logitech G9 first gen ( or the very first version of it).
not very good in bigger hands, left mouse button in awkward position, trying to replace it with something better before heading over seas. but after my M11x-r2, I don't think I can afford anything else ... -
i got myself a sidewinder x8 and so far I am a big fan of it, the one thing o do not like is that the part that plugs in is bulky. I used to use a m15x and used it for 5 1/2 years before it started malfunctioning. both are good, but after using the x8 I tried my m15x again and just found it too slow
What Gaming Mouse do you use with your M11x?
