Orion backpack. A little pricey ($80 on Amazon) but very sleek design and good amount of storage.

I have an external DVD drive, Iomega.
    Razer Orochi mouse
I ordered the neoprene sleeve from Dell. It works well.

Yesterday I picked up a notebook cooler, not because my m11x is too hot, but more so because I like the way it elevates the back of the machine. Seems more comfortable to me that way.

The cooler is Notepal x-lite. It was under 20 bucks at Fry's. Not sure if I would recommend it. The fan is pretty quiet, but it doesn't seem all that cool. Although my fan hasn't kicked in yet and I'm on two hours of Half Life 2.

Hmmm...the m11x fan was running, but I couldn't hear it because I was too lost in Half Life 2. :p

got a bunch of games too!

My m11x gets here in a couple days, but so far I have ordered...

    Wenger Synergy Laptop Backpack

    ASUS external DVD-ROM

I've been debating on which mouse to get, but I can't decide.
Leaning towards the Orochi, but i may grab the G700 or the Logitech Anywhere.

Nothing I didn't have for my other laptop. I have a GE optical mouse that's a couple years old now and it still works pretty fine.

Nice avatar, you have good taste in music.

The Logitech G700 is superior to the Razer Orochi in every single way. I can go into it more if you want, but the short version is that the Orochi has some shortcomings to it due to the fact that it is a Bluetooth mouse.

    Alienware Neoprene Sleeve
ASUS External DVD Drive - does what it's supposed to, no complaints, you can find this on Amazon and Newegg
Coolermaster Notepal U1 - highly recommended, fits M11x great and comes to about $15 shipped
22" Toshiba HDTV - got this for $150 new, it really helps to have a bigger screen for gaming
Klipsch Promedia 2.1 - excellent computer speakers for $140, high quality and a lot of bass when you want it
    Seagate 320GB External Hard Drive
Logitech MX518 gaming mouse - Great mouse for gaming and it's not that expensive... there's really no need to shell out $80 for a mouse
Logitech internet 350 keyboard - it's good to have a regular keyboard if you have long papers or documents to type (college)
Brother MFC-495CW printer - using this for copying/printing at college

That's what I've been reading. Now I just have to wait until I can find a deal on the g700.

No way. Steam is far better than Direct2Drive.

Steam automatically patches every game that you download through them without you having to do anything. Direct2Drive requires you to manually search and download patches, or relies on the game's own built-in patching utility (if it has one).

Steam has other features you don't get with Direct2Drive, like a friends lists, chat client (voice & text), Steam Cloud to automatically synchronize game settings across computers, game stats tracking, and an achievement tracking system. You get none of this with Direct2Drive.

Steam is owned by Valve, a company that actually develops and publishes computer games. Direct2Drive is owned by News Corporation, the same parent company as Fox News. I refuse to support them.

    1) External dvd burner (any will work) for software installs and dvd recovery Windows 7 Ailenware disc.
    2) A Laptop case ( your choice ) Microcenter is the cheepest or Fry's.
    3) A notebook cooler:

Google: Cooler Master R9-NBC-8PAK-GP NotePal U1 Notebook Cooler

    NotePal U1 ( fan edition )
Notebook Cooler ( up to 14 '' ) version .. Shows 12'' in the picture. Fits perfect! Doesn't stick out top bottom or sides.

This is great.. it is aluminum ( light ) and has a USB fan that is removable and replaceable/repositionable by a push of a button to unlock fan retainer feet.

(note, I carefully trimmed the front rubber to allow air to enter front vents of the m11x ) probably overkill.

I like the fact I don't have to worry about putting the M11x down on any cloth area.. coutch.. bed.. chair .. etc.

It was 14.95 at microcenter.. 19.99 at fry's. bestbuy has the big version of it.
