I change my colors about once a week.. One week green, one week blue, one week red, etc
What colors do you roll?
-
I have a bunch of colors, I change when I feel the need. I have a couple of "slideshows" that I choose from based on the surroundings.
-
Mostly light blue.
-
Blue here, though I typically leave the wireless indicator red.
-
press FN + PAUSE. Thats my color
(besides the wifi and head which are white :3)
-
My keyboard backlights cycle from red to blue to green over about a minute. The Alienware logo morphs from white to purple.
-
green this week not sure what shade of green lol.... and blue alien head
-
Yoda green 24/7.
-
I have mine to morph the full color spectrum slowly.
-
I've only used two color schemes so far (the first being my current one):
-
Run a green keyboard with blue grills and alienware logo. White for the wifi indicator.
-
All red with grills and alien head morphing from red to black.
Can the m11x do multi-colored keys simultaneously?
-
been sticking with blue
-
Purple at the minute but set to change to match a few games I play, such as white with red bits for Just Cause 2 and blue with yellow bits for Starcraft 2.
-
This week it's the NVIDIA theme for me:
-
-
I found Red nice if you keep the laptop on when you go to sleep
. Feels less bright than most of the others (except for the black one of course
).
-
LEDs of keyboard are now purple c/o my wife. -
Green is right smack-dab in the middle & is also the most visible to the human eye, and such, will appear the brightest(Given equal power) -
Red, a colour scheme I NEVER deviate from.
-
I have dark blue with yellow logo and speaker lights.
-
Alienware logo is ALWAYS off. I don't like it, distracts from the screen IMO. For a while I was keeping the keyboard/wifi logo blue, with orange for the grills. Looked nice, but recently switched it to white keyboard with red grills/wifi.
-
-
I hated that logo at first also, but I chose a dark color in fx lite (darker really just means it lowers the brightness), and like that I don't find it distracting.
-
All blue all the time (To match my razer Naga mouse)
(Not the clearest of images I know.) -
This is my "Mountain Dew" theme!
-
I have two users set up, one for general computing [DARK] and the other for gaming [RED] (where I set things for performance).
-
I have the Alienware logo off always. My color theme changes depending on what wallpaper i use to kinda match it. I use alot of game wallpapers & stuff from CGwallpaper or deviantart.
-
thats sick
-
I originally went for a combo of white and teal, but then I realized that backlights use battery life so since then I've just been going for a simple dimmed white keyboard backlight (along with white wifi) and the default blue power button / orange on battery. Alienware logo and grills are always off (except for when i'm using the winamp plugin, then it's rave time
) I gotta say I'm glad with my current color choice, it actually makes my baby alien look pretty professional, and most people don't even realize that it's an alienware
-
-
what program are you using there?
also atm everything is purple on my m11x apart from the wifi and caps indicator and the power button which are white and red respectively -
AlienFX Lite. It's an alternative to AlienFX. You can find the thread for it in the Alienware forum here.
-
Thanks in advance.
Nevermind - dumb question - I found it. -
I rock the teal

White keyboard since I bought it, the alien head (power button) is blue. Never really changed it except the day I bought it because I have all the alienware software turned off, kept my cpu use at or above 10% constantly. Cut the lights off the front and Alienware logo.

Rocking the Blue
-
Orange Alienware
Purple to greenish blue on keyboard
white to yellow on speaker vents -
I've been rocking red since I bought it.
How can I change the background for the login screen?
