    Shortly after the R2 came out, I configured the exactly same setup and got it for $1075 IIRC. That was with no tricky coupon codes or EPP discounts (although they may have been running an "instant discount" promo, I can't really remember).

    Bought a M11xR2 refurbished for 749.00 through dell outlet. 50.00 off with a coupon.

    I5, 250 HDD, no Bluetooth, 4 Gig ram, 1 year warranty and a few scratches where the speakers are. i am very pleased since I have over clocked it to 2.3 Ghz.

    Wish I could bring myself to go the refurb path... I'm so paranoid I haven't been able to go that route... I figure I surely will be the one to get string of absolute lemons, it is usually my luck.
