    I would like to edit the nv_disp.inf file to add custom resolutions 854x480 for example so I can play games at lower resolution and still in widescreen vs a stretched or cut off 800x600. Where can I locate this file?

    edit: I tried to add custom resolutions via nvidia control panel, but it is grayed out. I plan to try this as an alternative

    Why not modify the games .ini file. I've done it before and it usually works fine .
