    Hi,

Ever since I reinstalled my OS, I have been unable to get the Intel Graphis and Media Control Panel to recognise that I have another external Display attached to the HDMI port. However, I can 'extend' my display to my external Display monitor using the Windows 'Screen Resolution' section.

So currently, I do have my display extended on both my m11x monitor and my external monitor, BUT if I open the Intel Graphics Control Panel, it only sees my built-in m11x display....

I think this might be causing the conflict issue I have now where when I close the lid of the m11xR3, and re-open it, my main external display goes blank, and it shifts to the small built-in display. I have to than go into the WIndows OS sreen resolution section to reset it to extend my displays. This is tiresome as my external display is set as my main display.

    Thanks for any help.

Are you sure that the external display isn't in the drop-down menu?

Have you tried uninstalling (drive sweeper) both drivers then reinstalling the Intel and nvidia driver (in that order)?
