So after putting my laptop to sleep, my wifi refuses to reconnect after coming out of sleep mode. The little blue circle will spin for a second and then I get that orange star thing. So after each sleep, I manually have to click the wifi box, select my router, and reconnect. It's happened for as long as I can remember (with the standard DW1520 card and the Intel 6200 card I currently have in) and I don't know why it does this. I've already unchecked all the power management settings and updated to the latest drivers, but it still happens. Anyone have any ideas?

try looking for a setting in the drivers options (wifi driver), for power savings. I had a similar problem, in which case all i had to do was toggle an option for "never disable device" if low battery and/or sleep...

I have the same issue with my Dell Inspiron, so it should be the drivers or something like that, since my m11x is fine

As I stated previously, I've already unchecked the "allow the computer to turn this device off to save power" option. I also have the latest drivers. It's not that big of a deal, but it is an annoying issue.

I see this also... system sees the AP I always use but doesnt auto connect fast enough. If I leave it be or am not around it will connect on its own. Never timed it... if waiting I do it manually.
