I want to be able to output by hdmi to a 120hz LCD monitor. I would like to know if there is going to be an update to the GT335M drivers so that we can be able to play 3d games! I don't care about 3d movies!

It should be able to handle at least blu-ray movies. It may be able to play games, but no one has tried.

I play 3d on my laptop and it works well, I find that there isn't a 50% drop in performance with 3d, its more like 10%-30% so if the game runs at 60fps then it should still be fine in 3d.

@zarzak: I know I can't directly compare but by my experience you could judge the performance decrease in gaming.

@FUALL: I use a 720p projector to do all my 3d stuff so that helps with frame rate as it is a lower resolution.

I play using the m11x native LCD, i use iZ3D .... its only a 14mb download for the latest RC2 supporting even DX10, i cant get Nvidia 3D vision to work since m11x only has a 60hz screen and i have yet found a workaround to force it to work so im using iZ3D now.

iZ3D even supports anaglyph, so dont throw away those old red/cyan 3D glasses.

WoW + iZ3D even in anaglyph looks really good.

    iZ3D

I recommend not worrying about 3d gaming. The gimmick of 3d will die off soon enough, the only reason it hasnt yet is tv manufacturers have a death grip on the idea, and it has yet to "take off" really. just a matter of time.

    The m11x R2 only has 1 hdmi output now. I don't think that'll work.

I just realized that the m11x has one displayport and one hdmi. Can anyone confirm that this will work with iZ3D?

When we bought our M11x R2 in June, we also purchased the AW2310 120Hz LCD monitor and the Nvidia 3D Vision kit... but we have yet to hook it all up, since we still need a ~$100+ Display Port to *dual link* DVI adapter... even then, we're not sure if the GT335M would be "supported" by the 3D Vision driver - according to the release notes (noted by someone in this thread as well), only 3D movies/photos are supported, not "games". For now, we're using the 120Hz monitor and the 3D Vision kit on our desktop PC (Nvidia 260GTX), and that works very well... if I could be sure it would all work on the M11x R2, by purchasing that active DP-DVI(dl) cable, I'd try it out... but the $10 DP-DVI (single link) cable is all we have at this moment.

3D is crap and a waste of time and money right now. Don't fall for this BS.
If you think it looks "good" at all then you are just fooling yourself.

I highly HIGHLY doubt the 335m will handle it WELL, maybe just on par. My GTX480 barely pushes WoW respectively with it on. THAT was a waste of 100ish bucks.

There must be something wrong with you card then.

I have 2 8800GTX's in my computer and every game runs nice at around 50-70fps.

I have the m11xR2 and a 120Hz monitor connected using the DP to DualLink DVI adapter and the monitor is running perfectly in 120Hz. The issue is that I am not able to install the 3D vision driver. It says that the primary adapter doesn't support 3D Vison.
Does anyone tested this or has an idea of how to make it work?
    Thanks

Pretty much this. Yeah, IMAX in the theaters is great but it's just a gimmick. Kind of like motion controls outside of the Wii.

Do you mean the 260.63? I already nstalled those drivers and the 3D vision is still unavailable. Did you managed to make it work?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I downloaded the iz3d and love it. Playing Dragon Age Origins with it and it adds a completely new dimension to my gaming.

Assuming that you mean 50-70 in 3D this would mean your 8800GTX's are managing 100-140 FPS normally....

What resolution does your (presumably projector) run at?
