Hi, guys. wanna ask they whenever i shut down my m11x, it will come out with a screen saying that whether to force shut down/turn off any application.

Then next time i check the action center, it came out the result that the Windows was not shut down properly at critical event there. *Picture uploaded*

Is there anyway to fix it? thanks in advance.

A workaround yes. First you need to find out which application is causing that message. If I had to guess, it's probably one of the alienware apps. In fact, I think one time it said AlienFX was causing it.

You can disable that startup service, I think it's msconfig in the run command, and uncheck that app, I forgot; I'm sure someone can give you more specific instructions. Or you can wait till alienware updates their app so it shuts down properly. I choose to wait for an update, I don't mind it.

That might work too. You can increase one timeout value to allow more time for the bad app to shut down or you can decrease another timeout value so windows shuts down faster, either way. That way the force quit message won't show up. Decreasing the timeout value may cause problems for other apps.

Still though, I suspect one of the alienware apps not shutting down in a timely manner. Hopefully, this will be resolved in a future update.

I doubt it will do any harm. As far as I can remember, windows will always close the application and then shut down, so that it does not corrupt anything or create a data loss.. It will only show the message if the application is still shutting down or waiting to shut down. I sometimes have my browser, and some other applications open and I have to leave my room in a hurry. So I will just hit shut down and the screen will darken and show the list of applications running and it will shut them down one by one.
