My M11XR2 just arrived an hour ago, and I'm trying to connect it via a wired connection.
It recognizes it's there, but won't let me connect to it. It says "No network available" or something like that.
I followed what it says in the manual, tried setting up new connection but it doesn't let me connect.
What do I do?

If you are plugging in via Ethernet, you shouldn't have to create a new connection.
Please attach your ethernet cable and then screenshot and post back your:
1. Control Panel\Network and Internet\ Network and Sharing Center
2. Control Panel\Network and Internet\ Network Connections
Also include the router/cable/dsl modem you are connecting to.
My guess is, you need to go into your broadband router/modem and configure access. -

I'm trying to connect to a Netgear router/modem (we need the extra connections in the house) which is connected to my main UPC router.

What happens when you click on the Exclamation mark in the first screenshot and let Windows run its Connection Diagnostic Tool?

Clicked it and it said: "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem.". It can't be my internet either, because the family computer (which I'm using now) is connected perfectly, as well as my brothers PS3.

Dic you check your router's setup screens? Perhaps the router is configured with MAC Addy access only?

Take a look here - should have all the info you need, including how to log in and configure your router.

hi,
this may get us a step further to solving the problem:
click on start, and type "cmd" (w/o the quotes) and click on the result. a black console windows should open now. type in:
ipconfig /all
and post a screenshot of the complete result.
my guess is, that either your router isn't set to DHCP or somehow your network adapter settings are configured for a static IP.
Won't connect to wired internet.
