    build in mic not working, external is fine

    hi lads,
    quick question - as title says build microphone stopped work just two days ago, I tried reinstal audio driver (that one from dell webpage over my service tag - no change, then newest ver from realtek.com no change, so now Im back to driver ver from dell page)
    I brought logitech headphones with mic from my friend just to see what it says and it worked straight away (green bar in recording devices is like crazy, if I pull them out to go only with build in mich green bar is death)

    is that sayin hardware is gone? (any advice what to do with) or still soft issue?

    Try an AlienRespawn, if that does not work then probably the HW is damaged.
