    I did a fresh install with my ssd and installed alienware commandd center and the wifi drivers but went to install nivida drivers and it says needs a intel driver. I have been working on this computer all night man I am hating this thing. Will someone tell me please what I need.

    also I have a intel sdd do I need firm for that to

    ssd fw doesn't affect the GPU.

    R2 has swithable VGA. You might need drivers for that

    ah, yes, you need to install the intel drivers (intel hd graphics) before nvidia can work properly and do optimus.
