I just beat Crysis 2 last night actually. Got my R3 a month ago. It handles Crysis 2 with everything completely maxed out without any problem at all. There hasn't been a game yet that I've thrown at it where this wasn't the case. It's a really amazing laptop.

My R3 is the i7/540m/500gig HDD/8 gig RAM version.

I was only playing native res so just higher than 720p @ 1366x768

I cannot comment on hooking up to a larger screen, I need a wireless mouse/keyboard, or a very long HDMI

^^^ on this subject does anyone know how you turn the screen off when outputting via HDMI?

Just go into your rez options and set your "Multiple displays" to "Show desktop only on 2"

Performance in crysis2 is greatly increased in dx11. You should have no problem playing.

As for 1080p you will have to drop some settings especially shafted to find more playable options.

Really? Damn, I wish the GT335M was DX11 compatible. That should be something else to add to your guide DeeVu, the R3 can do DX11.
