    How do i use ACPI_call hack?

    please i dont anything about linux and i am confused as hell!

    i am using Ubuntu 10.10 which im using dual boot with win 7

    I am trying to use this hack because people say this is to make the intel HD gpu work and make the dedicated stop working


    I have no idea what to do, please someone make a step by step how to.


    Also, how do i get my lights/wifi working?

    I am using the m11x R2

    When i type in sudo insmod acpi_call.ko

    I get
    insmod: error inserting 'acpi_call.ko': -1 file exists
