First of all, hello to whole community. Been reading the forums like crazy recently, since started messing about with alienware laptops.
    But, to the point.
I purchased recently 2nd hand m11xR2, on which some beautiful mind has installed raw win7+drivers. Luckily for me, didn't wipe out recovery partition, but there is no option to recover laptop in F8 menu.
So I managed to locate factory.wim file, and manually, using ImageX - recover the laptop to it's original condition.
    But...
Wanted to do recovery again, but recovery partition disapeared. In windows disk manager it was shown as unpartitioned space. In partition recovery software it was discovered normally, as healthy working partition. Got me totally confused. I finally used TestDisk (free software-be carefull with this one) to restore that partition... but it broke other ones (marking them automatically as deleted).

Anyways. At this moment I've got original recovery partition, but visible now in windows (after marking it in TestDisk as Primary to make it accessible)

    So my question is:
Since I've got factory.wim, along with all other files on recovery partition, is it still possible to make F8 recovery running?

If not, is that possible to create bootable factory recovery DVDs using factory.wim image somehow?
AlienRespawn does not recognise recovery partition, even if it's there. Couldn't find it even before TestDisk operation
