    hi guys ive been doing alot of research on the heating of my m11x r3 i never really noticed it till started playing skyrim! around game play of 20 mins or more the laptop starts getting real hot!!! i never really thought of a cooling mat till last night since i worry of damagin the laptop.. i usually play with my laptop on my lap or laying down while its on carpet is there any good cooling mat u guys suggest for me there are so many and the previous one i bought was not help watsover thank you guys and sorry if this has been posted before

    you most likeley need to download something like speedfan, or HWINFO, these will show your temps, i have an r2 and 80 deg c under load is normal, they do get hot, but them remeber all the magic they are doing :p

    after playing skyrim for abou an hour i just exited the game n my temp is about 60 c 140 f is that good?

    If you exit the game, the temps will immediately go down, by the time you check it'll be 20C below what it was 5 seconds before that. You need to log your temps while you play.

    well during minimizing thats what i got 61c 141 f is that too hot?

    should be, i use speedfan since that has a temp/time graph feature

    anything over 90C is in the danger zone of being to hot. Once You hit 100C things might start to melt. :p my large rig tops out at 70C running prime 95 and the GPU gets to about 65C During a Overclocked furmark run. I never knew the cooling in the m11x was so horrible compared to its larger brothers :eek:
