I have a razer orochi is there away to disable the touchpad when the mouse is connected. I already have the setting clicked to do that in command center but is there any other suggestions?

it is in command center. Go to alien touch? and there should be a check off option there.

    Yeap, Command Center > AlienTouch.
There's an option to tick it and disable the touchpad when using mouse ;)

Another option is to use Synaptics pointing device panel which can be found on the task bar or the notification area.

Pointing Device Properties. Then in the panel select Device settings. Under the listed devices is the option to "Disable internal pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached".

I just find Alienware Command centre.... to other worldly for my liking. :)
But it looks like they do the same thing.

And you should be updating your touchpad with the latest driver directly from Synaptics in order to get features such as two-finger scroll and rotate, gestures, pinch-zoom, etc.

Be aware that once you've done that then the AlienTouch component will crash Command Center if you click on the Virtual Scrolling button. Which isn't a big deal really. AlienFX is the only useful CC component unless you're using AlienSense.

I also have the new synaptics driver to enable multi-touch and can't find a checkbox to disable the touchpad with the mouse pugged in.... I also do not use command center, so that option is out of the question

I have version 15.0.4 Go to control panel, Hardware & Sound, Devices and Printers, Mouse, Device settings there is a box "disable internal pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached. Be sure to click on the box and then apply. This works with a bluetooth mouse also.

In checking Dell Support, their current version to download is 15.0.4. If you update your driver there then you can disable touchpad when you are using external or bluetooth mouse.
