    i think my battery is dying out

    my battery icon has a red x on it. when i hover my cursor over it it says consider replacing your battery.

    does anyone know where i can get an oem battery?
    i dont want chinese.

    ill also change the gel (sorry i forgot what its called) thats on the gpu and cpu since im opening it up. can anyone suggest the best one?

    You can get one from ebay or from dell. I would go with the dell one though as it seems to be cheaper than the ebay ones (new ebay ones)

    There are used ones on ebay for about 100$

    Call Dell and ask for a replacement battery. They are not cheap however, last time I checked they were $150. And the gel is called thermal paste.

    Strange, I got a battery replacement for free, I just mentioned that I have 12.5% battery and they changed one for free :D

    Yea you can get a free one if you are with in your 1 year, I was out of 1 year by a month and they gave me a free one.

    Call dell tech support and try to get one for free, if not at least you have them on the phone to order a new one.

    im probably gunna go with arctic silver

    i will probably give them a call soon for a new battery.
