It'd help if you let us know if you have R1/R2/R3.

Bios: just hit F2 when you boot, and it will tell you your BIOS version.
GPU: if you have the nvidia 335, you need to use HWmonitor or GPU-Z or whatever you want to use to monitor your voltage, and see if it hits 0.90 or 0.95v. If you want to hit 0.95v, you need to download the modded bios file.

The R2 version of the BIOS mod is very easy. Just double click the flasher and it just starts flashing. No fiddling with anything.

true, im not sure if mdsniper7 knows anything about what the modified bios does tho. i think if he just got the r2 it has the latest bios on it already.

@mdsniper7 if you want to update the GT335m drivers, just download them from nvidia directly. and when installing, click on advanced installation and check the clean install button. and hit install.

Like DavyGT says you don't need to know about a BIOS just run the executable flash he made for us. A downsyndrome child could install the r2 modded bios... Personally I can't get much of an OC advantage but like they always say, no chip is the same.

this is true, but they should know what it does before they go off flashing things.
like the effect it has on battery life while gaming. i know its only a few minutes difference. but still.
