So I've been pleased with my r1 with just one issuue. The keyboard is very sensitive and from time to time I get double characters while typing. I've tried adjusting the windows repeat key delay but this doesn't really affect the issue. Just curious if anyone else has encounteered this with their r1, or if there's a trick for adjusting the keyboard's sensitivity?

and yes, I did not edit this post to correct for the keyboard issue. :p

I've never had any problems with keys being overly sensitive or unresponsive. I consider the keyboard as one of the M11x's strengths once you get used to the 92% layout.

Call support and ask to have it replaced.

Never had any problems with my R1 keyboard-wise. Quite the opposite, the keyboard seems one of the laptop's stronger points.

My spacebar is a little on the "gotta press a little hard" side, but other than that... its been great.

That never happend to me...maybe you are typing different. Like slickie said the keyboard is a plus in this computer. I love the satisfaction you get when you type fast =)

Alright, thanks for the feedback. Never had this with a notebook before. I do like the feel of the keyboard, though it doesn't hold a candle to my old M1210. Maybe I'll give replacing it a try.
