Since I use my alienware alot in complete darkness my keyboard is very bright. Is there a way to reduce brightness of the keyboard?

There should be a "go dim" option - if you right click the Alienware head in the task bar- (you may have to click the arrow to show all open processes in the tray first) you will find it. "go dark" to turn off and "go dim" to reduce the intensity
