First I would like to say hello as I am new to the forum.

Awesome is not even the right word to describe this laptop I got on Xmas... I am absolutely loving it. The only problem I have seen with it so far is that mine has a bit of keyboard flex, and if anyone has a fix please say so. I would recommended this laptop to anyone if thinking of buying.

What do you mean as flex? The keyboard legitimately flexes. Or are you complaining about the wasd key area being raised.

Welcome !!
Almost all alien ware notebooks have this problem, if it bothers you you need to take you keyboad out and bend the little metal tabs up, and if the body flex bothers you there are a couple screws you can tighten under the keyboard, there is a very nice write up on here, try searching for it. Hope I was of help.
And bran, the raised wads isn't a very common problem -
My KB dipped in the center pretty bad. the g and h key were almost touching. I took the battery out loosened a screw that was pulling the keyboard down. Then I folded a piece of paper and placed it in between the keyboard and the keyboard support that is made into the case. I put the screw in and just hand tightened it and no more dip in the middle of my keyboard.

I've only noticed my W key being more shaky than the other keys because it's the button used the most often in FPS games.
Other than that I don't see any flex...

I guess it depends on what sort of a flex do you have - what is the area it is most evident in, does it flex all the way to the table
or just slightly?
My own M11x has a slightly wavy keyboard (gotta look real close to even notice though) - but it feels rock-solid, there is no flex to it at all. -
Most likely its not snapped in all the way, it won't break, put pressure on the outer most parts of the keyboard and see if you here a snap, meaning its now in place - That's generally it for me

I would post pictures, but I dont really think its that worrisome. I was just wondering if anyone had any remedies, but its OK cause I can live with it. -
EDIT: Especially in light of the fact that a normal keyboard already has a tendency to contact the easily scratchable plastic screen. -
I'm considering calling Alienware, but I'm not sure yet.

WEASD flex is common to most, if not all of them. If the ends - ESC, TAB, CAPS, , CTRL and DEL, HOME, etc are higher than the rest of the keyboard then that is not normal and the keyboard should be replaced. Provided of course that you've already tried to press those edges down so that their clips are seated.
EDIT: You should be able to run your fingers along each side where the edge keys and the frame are. It should be flush. If keys are higher than the frame then it's not seated properly. -

As in the keys are close to be flush with the edge of the frame. You'll feel the keys and the edge at the same height. Keys higher = bad.
