It happen to me twice so far.. since I received the notebook (10 days old)

Right after BIOS (alienhead screen), popped up with error - Operating system not found. (I dont have any usb drive connected to the laptop other than my mouse)

If I turn it off and turn it back on, it boots up fine. I am going have to download the hard disk vendor utilities to check the disk to see if there is any issue with the circuit board. But I guess this could also be a controller issue on the motherboat itself...

anyone else this problem before? advice? I have not yet contact support about this problem...

not sure if this helps, but on the bottom right icon click the alienfx head and 'keep status zones on during dark' and tick it see if that helps! sorry if its nothing to do with it.

It's almost certainly a faulty Hard Drive - unfortunately, a common problem with modern mechanical drives !

Ultimate Boot CD - Overview contains the testing tools from all the vendors (in the Diag section) - run a full test for your drive, and let us know what you find.
