I've had the m11x-R2 for about a year now, and I've recently noticed that the GPU fan doesn't turn on, even when playing games. Is there anyway to force a fan start to make sure I don't have anything broken?

    Thanks in advance.

hey dude to test this you can do the following, Restart machine > press f12 at boot > select diagnostic tools, it will load up a blue seceen and do some preliminary tests on cpu, display and ram, take 5 mins or so, howver after it will ask to do an advanced test on the ram, Press NO.

it should then present a set of advanced menus, you want CUSTOM TESTS

it will load some files and present you with a drop down list of all the componets in your system, the fan will be under the CPU fan test, do both you should hear your fan spin up, and it will give you an rpm mine did about 4k on full and 3k min,

if not it may be dead,

    hope that helps
