I am looking to buy the m11x mainly because its a decent laptop portable etc and It will be first alienware so I dont wanna splash loads on my first AW.
I am just wondering since it comes with Intel® Core i3 2357M (1.3GHz, 3MB Cache).
I can either upgrade to
Intel® Core i5 2537M 1.4GHz (2.3GHz w/Turbo Boost, 3MB Cache) for £110
Intel® Core i5 2467M 1.6GHz (3MB Cache) [add £80.00 or £4/month1] for £80
or
Intel® Core i7 2617M 1.5GHz (2.6GHz w/Turbo Boost, 4MB Cache) for £260.
Just to say I mainly play wow etc and I want to be able to play on ultra settings everything maxed but if I get this laptop I would be looking to play other games aswell such as crysis 2 etc, so what do you guys think?

Definitely the i5-2467. The 2547 has a slightly faster graphics clock which wont effect you since you'll want to game on the dedicated graphics. Justifying almost 200 extra for a little bit turbo boost isnt worth it for the i7.

Okay so I can configured it and due to the uk being and stuff, I can get the m14x for like £100 more, but now I have a question for the m14x
Intel® Core i5 Processor 2410M (2.3Ghz, 3MB, 2C) Is the standard
Is Intel® Core i7 Processor 2630QM (2.0Ghz, 6MB, 4C) worth a extra £140 -
I'd say the:
Intel® Core™ i5 2537M 1.4GHz (2.3GHz w/Turbo Boost, 3MB Cache) for £110
unless the other i5 has turbo boost which the item you posted does not seem to say it does.
edit: as for the m14x:
The i7 is 4cores if I read it correct so it is justifiable in my mind. -
Yea got for the i7 in the m14x, the two extra cores are absolutely worth it

I am a bit confused by the dell discription of the 2 i5 processors.
Intel® Core™ i5 2537M 1.4GHz (2.3GHz w/Turbo Boost, 3MB Cache) for £110
Intel® Core™ i5 2467M 1.6GHz (3MB Cache) [add £80.00 or £4/month1] for £80
Looking on the Intel site, the 2467M should have turbo boost also, Do they disable this feature or are they keeping that feature quiet because they are selling it for £30 cheaper ?
