    m11x R3 freezing issue - need help debugging

    hey guys - thanks for clicking in. here is my story

    I have brought my R3 up to an anime convention in Detroit. I keep very good care of my items (physically) so not sure what is popping up here.

    After a few hours of use, the laptop will freeze. Absolutely no response from keyboard or mouse and normally requires a cold boot to get it back up. There is nothing here that makes me believe heat problem, as this does happen without the computer being used and there has been no loud kickup from the fans. I'm not gaming on the laptop here, I'm simply using it for internet browsing. I thought it might have been video driver, but I updated that to the latest from the dell website and yet the issues still occur.

    Is there anything I can do to the computer to help me locate the source of what is going on? (I have everything on stock settings, I haven't even checked if I can overclock this thing as it works just fine for what it is)

    I do have the factory SSD here. (got it at a great discount from the outlet)

    Any ideas from the gurus here as to what I should be looking for? (I might be slow to respond, I AM at a convention here)

    From my experience its HDD or Windows, SSD in your case i guess. update firmware for it, might fix it. I did notice that my R3 would freeze up with OEM windows 7 from alienware for some reason at random times, after i installed a clean win7 on my m11x it hasn't happened yet.

    Seen this with vid crash and NIC issues. For me, it was the intel 6200 I put in that was locking the system.
