    Hi guys,

I got my m11x a few weeks ago, loving it :D

Is it possible to add two 24" monitors to this little beast? Say one monitor connects via VGA and the other monitor connects via HDMI?

Thanks for any responses, I'm off to play some Left 4 Dead 2 :p

isn't that kinda overkill if you want to game with that setup? considering it's only an itty bitty netbook, in reality.

yea the gaming performance will really be killed. even with the 28 inch if you run the game at 1920 x 1080 ur really going to have to turn down those settings.

Yes, it should be able to drive dual monitors fine. You will only get two displays at once though; the integrated display will be off while two external displays are being driven.

I drive a 2560x1600 display (via DisplayPort) and a 1920x1080 display (via HDMI) concurrently when my M11x is plugged in.

Note that the GMA4500MHD does not appear to be wired to the DisplayPort or HDMI outputs so you'll need to have the 335m active to output via those ports.

Compared to the average 'Netbook' the M11z is massive and way more powerful... :) It is not a 'Netbook'... It's a full fledge notebook which can easely run dual monitors..

WT##### I am soo happy to hear this I am about to buy another Hanns G 28" monitor. Can you tell me if it is glitchy or anything? Does it do Clove view and can we span? Does performance of daily programs not including games slow it down? Is it bad for the machine? Will I be able to drive one 28" HannsG from my VGA port and the other via HDMI ?

I run my M11x on my 52inch HDTV and play MW2 and BFBC2 on all high settings and all is great! no problems as all. Now running dual monitors is just something good to know~

Confused because you can't play BFBC2 on all high settings at a playable framerate even on the default resolution.

You have to be turning it down a bit.

720p looks fine even on a big TV if you are far away.

I know, but I wasn't talking about resolution.
    I meant the detail settings.

i did not change any settings on BFBC2, ill post a screenshot tonight.
Just connected via HDMI and started playing.

All same settings, framerate "looked" and felt the same. I do not know what the FPS is, but felt the same as usual.
Play my first couple of RUSH campaigns other than the usual conquest.
    Its awesome.

I got the new HannsG that was released at the start of this month.

Its excellent, I've no dead pixels, no ghosting, no slow downs, no problems (touch wood).

Yes you will be able to use a HDMI and VGA at the same time, thats the setup I have, but I have to have the Nvidia card switched on.

To confirm I can connect 1 HannsG 28" monitor to the HDMI port and 1 HannsG 28" monitor to the VGA port and have extended desktops on both running at the same time? Will this work on the newest Nvidia drivers?

Is it even possible to get 3 monitors to run on the r1? One screen to the display port, one to the vga and one to the hdmi? Watching movies on 2 screens has this bezel down the middle. Just curious if somebody tried it. :-D
