    m11x r1 - Battery problem

    Im not sure whats going on but I get these prompts..

    Booting while plugged in:

    Booting while unplugged:

    In windows:

    I know for a fact the battery is at least 90% charged.. Im not really sure what to do here.. On my m17x I just take out the battery and hold the power button and it resets a similar error, on the m11x i dont know what to do.

    What do you make of this?

    It looks like the battery is bad. Try turning it off, unplug it, and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Or if you take the bottom panel off, you can unplug the battery, then hold the power button for 30.

    If that doesn't work, try updating and resetting your bios. The latest bios is A05 I believe.

    Yeah... I figured thats the problem. As I finished writing the last post windows now says "90% available (plugged in, not charging)"

    Thats actually bad news for me as my warranty ran out 2 months ago :S

    Sometimes they let you renew the warranty after it's ended. I think they wanted to charge me around $250 for an extended warranty on my r2.

    Yeah they told me that... But 200 for a 500 dollar pc is kind of crazy
