    m11x r1 suddenly turned off and won't charge

    A little background information:
    My original charger from Dell has been working on and off for a couple months but every now and then the powder indicator on the AC adaptor doesn't turn on and it won't charge. I've had a second hand adaptor, but I prefer to use the original charger for its longer cord.
    The other day I was using my m11x r1 with the original charger and it suddenly turned off completely (not powered down, not hibernated, it just shut off instantly). It was working again a few minutes later, but the battery won't charge anymore regardless of which charger I use. I'm trying to open the bottom panel to inspect the battery but I can't get the screws off yet. Any other ideas I can try in the meantime?

    Try a power drain. If that doesn't work you may need a battery replacement.
